As i wrote earlier - i want to lose 7 kgs by 29th August ‘09 but wasn’t doing any exercise. Well from this Sunday i have started my morning walk …. n yes ! evening walk too.

I took some photos of my favourite flower. My brother said -  “you went for a exercise walk or to take photos”.  Well every sunday I’ll take my camera with me n for the rest of the week days i’ll do my exercise walk.  Enjoying my summer morning !!!

Taking photos can be very tempting … i wouldn’t stop myself. i looked at my watch on my mobile - it was moving fast because i was enjoying every moment of it. I had to stop but next sunday will have more n hope to lose at least 1 kg this month.
My hair is growing very long - want to trim a little bit .. but at the same time don’t want to spend money on trimming. The hair looks fine - i do not know quite confused .. my friend “Kamal” will be trimming her hair so lets see if that inspired me .. .. Lets see !!! Any way enjoy the photos…

This was the slogan by “Radio Mirchi” - so we did our duty of being a responsible citizen of India n cast our vote yesterday. But should we be proud? i didn’t know whom to give my vote. Every one is corrupted - in the past few days, each party criticized each other as low as they can. Do they really think or care for the ordinary citizen of India or of the nation. Really hard to believe any of the party word.

Today - even in the news they were showing that during election campaign Ms. Priyanka (daughter of Smt. Sonia Gandhi) wore cotton sari n on the voting day wore western outfit. i have nothing against her dress - but “they” should know that they are a celebrity n media is always around them. Then why to do things that cause such a “hue and cry”. Is it to show that they only care about their votes - any way even if she had worn Indian outfit, it would have made any difference to their polities or the life of Indian.

I know some where in my heart that Congress will be elected again - not that i support them or any other party. I can support anyone who does good for the nation and for its people. But there is a BIG question … Not is good for the nation or its citizen … How do one measure it …??

Obviously,  Life is all about hopes - hope for betterment - hope for growth (economy wise as well as human welfare ) - hope for a new India in this coming 5 yrs.

Last night - had “Chole” for dinner with chappati - made by my cousin sister “Suparna”. They were more tastier then what they look.  I know “chole n rice” makes a perfect combination - but what to do, trying to lose weight.  If i lose 8 kgs by the end of August - i will get Rs. 10,000 - isn’t that GREAT … But the sad part is - i haven’t yet started my exercise routine n still eat tones of sweet… i have a huge sweet tooth.

One of my favourite written is R. K. Narayan. I read some of his novels n liked them all. All his novels are execllent but among them my favourite are :

“The Swami & Friends”  (his 1st novel - 1935) , “The English Teacher”  (3rd novel - 1945) , “The Guide” - 1958, “The Man-Eater of Malgudi” - 1962 , “The Talkative Man” - 1986 , Last but not the least -  “My Days”  (his autobiography).

No one can ever imagine that the town “Malgudi” doesn’t exist. In every novels  - the description of the town is interliked.  Love his way of writing : Simple and very impressive. Descriptive but not boring. One can imagine the roads n the houses on it - the people n their activities - the river bank n their sourrounding.

His own life (as written in “My Days”) is as creative as his on writing. After reading that he could communicate with his dead wife - i got somehow reliefed. Hoping that i too can communicate with my loved ones when they are no more ….
